Question : I have a question pals : in 4/5 hive maps with Marine spawning randomy such as s2_summit or ns2_derelict, it there a function so the alien spawn doesn't spawn adjacent to the Marine spawn ?
Answer :
- There's a spawn_override entity
- Very easy to set up
- Refinery's are in a hidden layer that's located in Flow Control by the tech point if you want to see them in action
- Yeah for the spawn_selection_override entity you need to type in the name of the location entity in which you want the spawn to happen. If you spell the name wrong then in best case scenario the spawn doesn't happen in that constellation. In worst case the hive and CC will disappear
