Introduction

The Sentry is a Marine structure that automatically targets and fires upon any aliens in its line of sight.

The Sentry

  • operates on Battery power only
  • Battery operates even without power in the Room
  • field of vision is 160 degrees
  • rotates with 60 degrees/second when an alien is detected
  • has a range of 20 units
  • deals 5 damage per shot
  • fires 1 shot/0.15 seconds
  • can be confused by Spores and Stomp
  • fire rate drops to 1 shot/2 seconds when confused
  • will be ready to fire 3.5 seconds after it is built

Tactical Summary - Sentries

  • You can drop 1 Battery per room and 3 Sentries per Battery.
  • A full set of 3 Sentries plus Battery costs 70/200 Supply.
  • Sentries need 3.5 seconds to arm after completion.
  • Sentries can be confused by Stomp and Spores.
  • Confused Sentries shoot once every 2 seconds instead of once every 0.15 seconds.
